Remedy:	1 • Initial setting: • Remove all the optional units and modules related to the electrical system and bring the printer back to the standard status. • Check if all connectors are properly connected to the CONTROLLER PWB. • Reinsert the DIMM. Replace or reinstall the relevant part. Go to step 2 2 • Improving the CONTROLLER PWB Environment: • Update the program to the latest one in the DIMM.ÅB Replace or reinstall the relevant part. Description:	Image processing error JAM010X is detected twice.
Causes:	Defective main PWB.
Remedy:	Main PWB Replace the main PWB.

Display:	SVC 113 ERROR
Description:	Finisher Stapler Failure, Code 113 The staple home sensor doesn’t turn ON within 2 seconds after the stapler motor started to turn backwards.
Causes:	• Finisher Control Board • Staple Unit Assembly
Remedy:	1 1. Enter service diagnostics. 2. Run the Stapler Home sensor test. 3. Does the value change from H to L when the stapler is moved away from the home position? Go to step 6. Go to step 2. 2 1. Measure the voltage between finisher board connector P852-2 and frame ground. 2. Does the voltage change between 0 and +5 VDC when the sensor is blocked and unblocked? Replace the finisher control board. Go to step 3. 3 1. Measure the voltage at the Finisher Board connector P852-1. 2. Dose the voltage measure +5 VDC? The home sensor or the wiring is bad. Replace the staple unit assembly. Go to step 4. 4 1. Disconnect the Stapler Unit Assembly. 2. Measure the voltage between the finisher board connector P852-1 and frame ground. 3. Does the voltage measure +5 VDC? Replace the stapler unit assembly. Go to step 5. 5 Is +24 VDC present at either J847-7 or J847-9? Replace the finisher control board. Troubleshoot and repair the +24 VDC interlock circuit. 6 1. Enter service diagnostics and run the “Stapler Close Motor” test. 2. Does the stapler motor operate correctly? Replace the finisher control board. Go to step 7. 7 With the Stapler Close Motor test running is +24 VDC present at J847-7? Replace in the following order: • stapler head assembly • finisher control board Troubleshoot and repair the +24 VDC interlock circuit.

Display:	SYSTEM HALT (*) 510 : X ORGIN
Description:	Replace green developer
Causes:	• Tray lift motor defective or connector disconnected • Lift sensor defective or disconnected • Pick-up solenoid defective or disconnected • Paper end sensor defective
Remedy:	1. Check the harness connection or replace it. 2. Replace the bypass tray lift motor. 3. Replace the bypass upper limit sensor. 4. Replace the bypass lower limit sensor. 5. Check or clear obstacles around the bypass pick-up solenoid.

Error code:	511
Display:	SYSTEM HALT (*) 511 : Z ORGIN
Description:	A3 LCT exit roller contact motor 1 error. One of the following conditions is detected in the A3 LCT. • The LCT exit roller sensor is not activated within 225 pulses after the LCT exit roller contact motor has turned on at its initialization. • The LCT exit roller sensor detects for 25 pulses even after the LCT exit roller has moved away from its home position. • The LCT exit roller sensor does not detect within 25 pulses after the LCT exit roller has moved back to its home position.
Causes:	• Poor connection or defective LCT exit roller contact motor • Poor connection or defective LCT exit roller sensor
Remedy:	1. Check the harness connection. 2. Replace the LCT exit roller contact motor. 3. Replace the LCT exit roller sensor.

Error code:	512
Display:	CAPSHTR ORGIN
Description:	Replace brown developer
Causes:	• Poor connection or defective LCT exit roller contact motor • Poor connection or defective LCT exit roller sensor
Remedy:	1. Check the harness connection. 2. Replace the LCT exit roller contact motor. 3. Replace the LCT exit roller sensor.

Error code:	513
Display:	ERROR 513 !MEDIA HEIGHT
Description:	Copy cartridge (drum unit) will need replacing soon
Remedy:	1. Check the state of the Jam Detection Sensor. 2. Check the connector connection of the Jam Sensor and check the connection route. 3. Replace the Jam Detection Sensor (L/R) with a new one. 4. Replace the Slider PCB with a new one. 5. Replace the Main PCB with a new one.

Error code:	516
Display:	ERROR 516 MEDIA SET POSITION L
Description:	DADF feed rollers should be replaced
Causes:	• Loose connection between the BCU and the duplex unit controller board
Remedy:	1. Check the media setting position. 2. Perform cleaning of the media width sensor. 3. Execute [#TEST PAPER SENSOR].

Error code:	517
Description:	Replace exposure lamp
Causes:	• One of the fuses on the duplex unit controller has blown. NOTE: The fuses prevent excess electricity from flowing into the motors.
Remedy:	2/1 Optional Cassette Unit error, or 2/1 Optional Cassette Unit other than this printer`s option is installed

Error code:	520
Description:	Replace optics filter
Causes:	• Physical obstruction blocking motor • Motor harness damaged, defective • Motor defective

Description:	Replace fuser pawls
Causes:	• Fusing oil not circulated in the fusing unit • Overload to the fusing motor • Poor connection or defective LCT exit roller contact motor
Remedy:	1. Check or replace the fusing unit. 2. Check if remaining paper or obstruction in the fusing unit stops the fusing motor drive. 3. Replace the fusing motor.

Error code:	524
Description:	Paper exit motor error • The machine detects a rotation error of the paper exit motor for 0.1 second after the paper exit motor has rotated for 0.9 second. • The machine does not detect any signal from the paper exit motor for 0.1 second when the paper exit motor is in the ready condition
Causes:	• Paper jam in the paper exit area • Incorrect rotation speed setting of the paper exit motor • Incorrect rotation speed setting of the fusing motor • Defective paper exit motor • Defective PDB.
Remedy:	1. Remove the paper jam. 2. Input the default setting for the paper exit motor with SP1-805-001. 3. Input the default setting for the fusing motor with SP1-907-001. 4. Replace the paper exit motor. 5. Replace the PDB.

Error code:	525
Description:	Transport motor error: bank 1 The machine detects a Lock signal from a bank 1 transport motor after the motor turned on.
Causes:	Motor overload. Defective motor. Disconnected connectors. Broken harness.
Remedy:	1. Turn off and on the main power switch. 2. Check or connect the connectors. 3. Replace the harness. 4. Replace the motor.

Error code:	526
Description:	Transport motor error: bank 2 The machine detects a Lock signal from a bank 2 transport motor after the motor turned on.
Causes:	Motor overload. Defective motor. Disconnected connectors. Broken harness.
Remedy:	1. Turn off and on the main power switch. 2. Check or connect the connectors. 3. Replace the harness. 4. Replace the motor.

Causes:	A LOCK signal is not detected for more than ten seconds while the motor START signal is on and if this error occurs twice consecutively, this SC is issued.
Remedy:	• Disconnected or defective motor harness. • Defective LSU fan motor 1. Check or replace the motor harness. 2. Replace the LSU fan motor.

Description:	Fusing Fan Motor Error
Causes:	A LOCK signal is not detected for more than ten seconds while the motor START signal is on and if this error occurs twice consecutively, this SC is issued.
Remedy:	• Disconnected or defective motor harness. • Defective LSU fan motor 1. Check or replace the motor harness. 2. Replace the fusing fan motor.

Error code:	532
Description:	IH coil fan error The machine does not detect the fan motor lock signal for 2 seconds while the IH coil fan turns on.
Causes:	• Disconnected harness • Overload on the IH coil fan motor • Defective IH coil fan motor • Defective IOB
Remedy:	1. Check or replace the harness. 2. Replace the IH coil fan. 3. Replace the IOB.

Error code:	533
Description:	IH inverter fan error The machine does not detect the fan motor lock signal for 2 seconds while the IH inverter fan turns on.
Causes:	• Disconnected harness • Overload on the IH inverter fan motor • Defective IH inverter fan motor • Defective IOB
Remedy:	1. Check or replace the harness. 2. Replace the IH inverter fan. 3. Replace the IOB.
